Power, Prestige and Passion: The Visionary Behind Elite Miami Living
At the forefront of Miami’s competitive luxury real estate market stands an inspiring, unstoppable woman: Daiana Quiceno, founder and CEO of Elite Miami Living, a name synonymous with excellence, elegance and unwavering commitment.
With a clear vision and guided by strong values, Daiana is far more than a powerhouse in real estate: she is a symbol of what can be achieved when expertise meets passion.
Her philosophy is simple but effective: every client should feel secure, understood and empowered at every stage of the process.
With nearly two decades of experience in the international real estate market, Daiana has become the trusted advisor to some of the world’s most discerning buyers, from renowned artists and elite athletes to senior executives looking for their ideal home or a strategic investment in the vibrant city of Miami.
For Daiana, real estate is not just a profession; it is part of her DNA. From a very young age she was guided by her mother, a renowned international real estate agent, who taught her that true success goes beyond closing deals: it is about building trust, offering clarity and guiding clients with confidence.
Her impressive portfolio includes some of Miami’s most emblematic pre-construction projects: Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, PMG’s The Elser Hotel and Residences, Swire Properties’ Brickell City Centre, Una Residences, Oko Group’s Missoni Baia, and projects from the prestigious Tibor Hollo Group, such as The Club at Brickell Bay and Opera Tower.
One of her greatest achievements has been her key role in sales at Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, the city’s first supertall skyscraper, where she has generated more than 800 million dollars in sales. Her strategic talent and magnetic energy have taken her around the world, representing Miami’s real estate market at international fairs in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Turkey, France and, most recently, at SIMA in Madrid, Spain.
Her excellence has been widely recognized with multiple awards, including the coveted Excellence Award from Fortune International Group, in recognition of her outstanding performance and dedication.
Daiana is now expanding her influence beyond sales, taking on the role of thought leader and writing columns on financial trends, investment strategies and Miami’s ever-evolving luxury lifestyle. Her insights, grounded in first-hand experience, are as sharp as they are inspiring.
Q&A with Daiana Quiceno:
– As CEO of Elite Miami Living, what inspired you to found your company?
My children, my family.
– With a portfolio exceeding 800 million dollars in sales, what strategies have proven most effective in achieving such remarkable success?
I become the client’s friend, because when someone invests, I take care of that investment. It is not about selling for the sake of selling. For me, it is not just a commission transaction; it goes far beyond that. It is about protecting that person’s money for their children and grandchildren. I believe that is what makes the difference: I always sell with my heart.
– Which luxury real estate projects have you sold?
Many. The most recent was Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami. Before that, Missoni Baia, and then Brickell City Centre; those were incredible times, we worked nonstop. During the crisis, we sold Biscayne Condominium (Everglades on the Bay), which also sold like hotcakes. Before that, the Met downtown, Opera Tower and Paramount Bay.
– Have you received any industry awards you would like to share with our readers?
One that was very special to me, from Fortune: “Person of the Year.”
– What would you say is the “secret” of your empowerment?
You have to be very humble to feel empowered. The secret is never forgetting where you come from.
– Have you had any mentors throughout your career?
Maile Aguila of Swire Properties; Walter Defortuna; Edgardo Defortuna; Ana Christina Defortuna; Vlad Doronin.
– Having witnessed the evolution of Miami’s real estate market, how do you see its future?
Miami’s real estate market is expected to keep growing, driven by demand for luxury properties, international investment and the arrival of remote workers. However, challenges such as rising interest rates, climate change and limited supply could affect prices. Overall, the market is likely to remain resilient, with a focus on sustainable projects and a high-end lifestyle.
– Balancing a demanding career with family life is not easy. How do you manage it, and what advice would you give to other women trying to do the same?
With organization and perseverance. To get where you are, you cannot stop working or wait for things to come to you. You need structure: calls in the morning, emails at a set time, a steady routine. Time management is key when you are a mother, a wife and a businesswoman. And in each of those roles, you have to be present.
– What advice would you give to young professionals who want to stand out in this industry?
Knowledge and time. Study a lot, understand the market, read the newspaper every morning, magazines like “The Real Deal” and “The Economist,” always stay up to date. And time: give it all of yours, answer the calls, the emails, be available.
– What legacy do you hope to leave for future generations of women in your field?
Selling is an art and, like any art, it can be learned and perfected over time. It is an art if you pay attention to every detail, if you analyze every move. That is the legacy I want to leave: that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Being present, having a life full of success, a marriage built on communication and children who feel proud of you.
