Maccapani Debuts “MaccaFinds: Airbrushed” at Milan Design Week 2025

A bold fusion of fashion, furniture, and memory through custom-painted vintage design. For Milan Design Week 2025, Maccapani presents “MaccaFinds: Airbrushed”, a limited-edition collection of vintage furniture transformed through airbrushing. This marks the brand’s debut in furniture, extending its MaccaFinds concept – known for reinterpreting vintage fashion – into interiors. The 12-piece collection, sourced from antique markets and Margherita Maccapani Missoni’s personal archive, includes a dresser, glass cabinet, coffee tables, stools, and lamps, each reimagined as a one-of-a-kind artwork by a longtime collaborator from Varese, known for customizing motorbikes and helmets.

The project draws deeply from Margherita’s own creative roots, specifically her adolescence in Varese, where motocross culture shaped her aesthetic sensibility. This influence – already present in her fashion work – now merges with the visual language of antiques, blending past and present in unexpected ways. Showcased at Maddalena Tabasso Antichità, a historic Milanese antique store, the collection engages with themes of transformation, sustainability, and personal history. Through vivid surface treatments, Airbrushed bridges fashion and design, proving that bold creativity and environmental awareness can redefine how we interact with objects – whether worn or lived with.
