Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Ramos earned his medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, where he also completed his training in general surgery and trauma surgery. He later conducted clinical research at Cleveland Clinic Florida and the University of Iowa, before completing advanced surgical training at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.
He went on to complete his Integrated Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, considered one of the most competitive and prestigious plastic surgery programs in the world, where he received comprehensive training in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ramos has more than 20 scientific publications and presentations, building a track record that combines research, innovation and surgical excellence. His work has been recognized nationally. In March 2025 he received the prestigious R.K. Daniels Resident Award, presented during the annual meeting of the Rhinoplasty Society, one of the highest honors for physicians in training in the field of facial plastic surgery. His research has been published in scientific journals such as Clinical Plastic Surgery and Operative Techniques in Orthopaedics, and presented at major national conferences, including Plastic Surgery The Meeting and the annual meeting of the Ohio Valley Society of Plastic Surgeons.
