Spanish Atelier with Over 60 Years of History Marks Its Arrival in South Florida
RGS Europe celebrates the opening of its U.S. flagship in Coral Gables with Miami’s luxury, development and design community.
CORAL GABLES, FL – October 15, 2026. The city of Coral Gables welcomed the official opening of RGS Europe USA, the U.S. flagship of the Spanish interior architecture atelier, under the leadership of its Partner, Santiago Agardy.
The opening event brought together representatives of the parent company RGS Europe, who traveled especially from Galicia, Spain, for the occasion, alongside Miami’s leading developers, designers, creative stylists and prominent personalities from the luxury and interior design community.
An exclusive gathering for those shaping the future of luxury living in South Florida, the celebration featured a live performance by a chamber ensemble from the Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), conducted by Maestro Eduardo Marturet. Speeches were delivered by Fran Pérez and Santiago Agardy, with Spanish journalist Ana Conde serving as Master of Ceremonies.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Carlos Hurtado, Ana Cristina and Edgardo Defortuna, Gil Dezer, Eli Klinger, Rafael Amuchastegui, Inigo Aznar, Ana Ramirez and Enrique Schongberg.
The opening marks a historic milestone for the company, which celebrates over 60 years of legacy in Europe. With state-of-the-art factories in Spain and Mexico and a history as a trusted manufacturing partner for global retail leaders, RGS Europe has chosen South Florida as its U.S. base to develop new projects in partnership with local creatives, architects and designers.
