Eighty-Three Homes Between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal

Fort Lauderdale’s waterfront is about to gain one of its most exclusive addresses. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Fort Lauderdale Beach, from developers MICL and Admire Capital, rises 13 stories at 551 Bayshore Drive, with just 83 private homes set between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.

The boutique dual-tower design is by Garcia Stromberg, with interiors by Dan Fink Studio. Homes are two to three bedrooms with dens, from about 1,550 to 3,480 square feet, including six penthouses with ceilings up to 11 feet. Residences start from $2.5 million.

Inside the Residences

Each home has wide-plank white oak floors, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and generous terraces, with select residences capturing both Intracoastal and ocean views. Kitchens feature Shaker-style cabinetry with integrated Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. Primary baths have freestanding tubs and Waterworks fixtures. Select residences have private elevator lobbies, and the penthouse collection includes private rooftop terraces, with plunge pools in select layouts.

Amenities and Service

Between the towers, gardens frame a lap pool and a separate leisure pool, with private cabanas, an outdoor bar pavilion and a select number of dock slips on the Intracoastal. Inside, owners have a resident lounge with a catering kitchen, a screening room, a multi-sport simulator, a conference room and a children’s playroom.
