Nancy Comenta – 111 Edition

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

I’m very honored to present our South Florida’s Empowered Women issue, where we
recognize and celebrate these influential ladies from numerous industries for their professional achievements and remarkable contributions. These powerful women are inspiring role models, demonstrating resilience, determination, and leadership in the boardroom and at home. Their ability to balance demanding careers, and some with the responsibilities of motherhood, showcases the strength and versatility of women in positions of power. By honoring them in this issue dedicated to women, we acknowledge their individual accomplishments and highlight the importance of supporting and empowering women in all aspects of their lives. Their dedication to excellence in their personal and professional spheres sets a powerful example for future generations of women.

This edition is dedicated to my mother Haydee and aunt Hilda Noriega, extraordinary examples of empowered women who journeyed from Cuba to embrace a new life in Miami–not by choice. Tragically, Aunt Hilda was a victim in the Surfside tragedy, but her spirit continues to inspire us.
