What it is, what it is for, and how it benefits us.

To talk about the great benefits of micropigmentation, we first need to know what this treatment is. It is a semi-permanent makeup technique we use to correct or perfect a part of our body.
This treatment does not seek to modify features but to highlight them and conceal imperfections, with a very natural touch, without pain or side effects, since it is a non-invasive treatment. It can be applied to various areas, such as:
• The eyebrow area: people with sparse eyebrow hair, people who suffer from alopecia, or people who simply want to define or perfect the design of their eyebrows.
• On the eyelids: eyeliner is applied to deepen the gaze.
• On the lips: to give a natural color or correct asymmetries in that area.
• On the areolas: for people who suffered from breast cancer and have undergone a mastectomy. It is also applied to people whose areolas lost pigment from surgery. 3D areolas are drawn to resemble the natural areola.
• On the head: when hair is missing, a treatment called trichopigmentation is performed, in which we pigment small dots, darkening the area to conceal baldness.
Micropigmentation is also performed on people who suffer from vitiligo; in those cases, the depigmented areas of the skin are pigmented. Stretch marks and scars can be camouflaged.
Now that we know everything that can be done with micropigmentation, it is important to mention its benefits:
1. It is a semi-permanent treatment: it is not a tattoo, so it will only last about a year.
2. You can stay on trend: since it is a semi-permanent treatment, you will have the chance to apply whatever is in style at the moment.
3. It is a versatile technique: the design can be personalized, adapted to the person’s morphology, and tailored to their tastes.
4. It is a treatment that can be performed on women and men.
5. It is a technique with completely natural results.
6. We do not need monthly touch-ups because it is done annually.
7. It is a minimally invasive treatment.
So what is the difference between micropigmentation and microblading? With micropigmentation, known as traditional permanent makeup, you get longer-lasting results, while the microblading technique offers more precision. It all depends on your taste and needs.
We are often unhappy with some parts of our face or simply want to highlight our features. With micropigmentation, you can soften sad expressions, sparse or nonexistent eyebrows, asymmetrical lips, and more.
So this treatment seeks to further enhance the beauty of our features (lips, eye line, and eyebrows) while making semi-permanent corrections; it aims to beautify, rejuvenate, balance, and harmonize the master lines of the face. With this procedure you get an instant makeup effect and a very natural final result.
If you have not yet taken the plunge to try micropigmentation on your face, we recommend you give it a try so you can enjoy all its benefits.
