The art of dance and fashion come together in an extraordinary way in “En Pointe – Dance & Fashion,” the new exhibition by acclaimed photographer Pari Dukovic at VISU Contemporary in Miami Beach, on view from October through November. The show presents 25 images selected from the recent Rizzoli publication New York City Ballet: Choreography & Couture, a book that celebrates the meeting of choreography and haute couture through the New York City Ballet (NYCB).
Known for his ability to capture essence and movement in a single frame, Dukovic presents a one-of-a-kind combination of the ethereal beauty of NYCB dancers and the luxury of custom-made costumes by some of the world’s most prestigious designers. The photographic series highlights not only the dancers’ technique and discipline, but also the incredible detail and craftsmanship of designers such as Thom Browne, Iris van Herpen, Alexander McQueen, Carolina Herrera, and Valentino.

The exhibition opens with a grand reception on Thursday, October 17, where the public will have the opportunity to meet Pari Dukovic in person. It is a unique chance to experience his work up close, exhibited in a gallery for the first time. The images, which portray both the strength and the grace of the dancers, will be available for sale exclusively at VISU Contemporary.
Among the highlights is an unpublished photograph, an outtake from the book, which promises an exclusive touch for gallery visitors. Dukovic draws inspiration from art giants such as Eadweard Muybridge and Henri Matisse, blending photography with the sensation of continuous movement in every image.

Since its founding in 2022, VISU Contemporary has established itself as a space where contemporary art comes alive through provocative and inclusive exhibitions. Strategically located near the Miami Beach Convention Center and the Bass Museum of Art, VISU has become a reference point in the Miami Beach art scene.
Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in this fusion of fashion and dance. The exhibition runs through the end of November. For more information about the gallery and the exhibition, visit visugallery.com or contact them directly at 305.496.5180.
