The Coconut Grove Seafood Festival is a waterfront celebration of all things seafood. The event will offer South Florida the chance to savor some of the freshest seafood all afternoon, with a Live Caribbean band, a kid-friendly fun zone, mojito bars and more! This year, it’s going to be bigger with proceeds going towards Celebration of the Sea Foundation, a South Florida-based organization that has continued to produce a wide variety of entertaining and engaging educational programs for children and families with a specific focus on the world’s oceans and marine habitats.
Taking place at the Miami Marine Stadium, the seafood festival has partnered with IGT Media Holdings and Primecard to put together an incredible lineup of over 25+ gourmet culinary vendors including Monty’s, Old Lisbon, Latin House, GK Bistronomie, Tapelia, Blue Lisbon, Happy Wine, King of Racks, and Casablanca, to name a few.
The Shipwreck Bar & Lounge will have live acoustic music, crafted cocktails and plenty of lounge seating. The Family Fun Zone will have inflatable slides, games, free activities, face painting and more. In addition, this year’s benefactor, Celebration of the Sea Foundation, will have a wide variety of hands-on environmental and educational exhibits along with exciting games, rides and activities for children and families.
The Kitchen Lab will offer cooking workshops featuring a “Battle On The Bay” contest series where various chefs will faceoff in a challenge to see who wins the title for Best Ceviche, Best Paella, Best Fish Taco and Best Sushi roll. Guest Judges will include Geoffrey Anderson (Miami Food Pug), “Kiko” Suarez (NBC’s Que Rico Con Kiko) and Clarissa Buch (Miami New Times). Tropical Chevrolet will be at the Festival giving patrons the opportunity to WIN a new 2016 Chevy!

ECO – DISCOVERY ZONE To Feature Hands-On Science and Art Related To Pressing South Florida Environmental Issues At Miami’s Historic Marine Stadium.
This year the festival will feature a new “EcoDiscovery Zone” being produced by the Celebration of the Sea Foundation to engage and educate kids and families about pressing environmental issues in South Florida.
The Eco-Discovery Zone is currently slated to promote student career pathways for Eco-Tourism, SCUBA Diving and STREAM (Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Arts and Math) which are critical to South Florida’s economy in addition to featuring a wide variety of exciting and innovative environmental and educational hands-on activities, exhibits, games, touch-tanks, stage performances, video displays and inflatables which will be co-hosted with leading educational, scientific and civic organizations.
