Tamara’s Bistro, highlighted by soaring windows overlooking the National hotel’s infinity pool and al fresco dining patio, offers a vibrant culinary experience where guests can enjoy the charming ambiance and flavorful indulgences of a traditional French bistro. Its colorful mosaic ceiling depicts an Art Deco scene in the style of the famous period artist, Tamara de Lempicka, the National Hotel restaurant namesake.
Iconic and timeless, the National Hotel is located in the heart of Miami Beach and has offered oceanfront accommodations and entertainment since its opening in 1940. Fully restored in 2014, the hotel was recognized by Historic Hotels of America for maintaining its architectural authenticity and sense of place. The entertaining cast of The Cabaret South Beach puts on a great show featuring jazz classics, Broadway tunes and some Top 40. Add the deliciously prepared mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ and exquisite food and you have the perfect recipe for a great Sunday afternoon. Later you can even take a leisurely
stroll by the pool or beach. The Sunday Brunch with “The Cast” of The Cabaret is every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $39 for a buffet, one mimosa and live music. For $25 a person, guests can enjoy bottomless mimosas.
Make sure you come with a hearty appetite so can savor their extensive buffet delicacies featuring: a full breakfast station (eggs and omelets, chicken apple sausage, home style potatoes, waffles and fresh fruits); specialty breakfast items; bread station (croissant, raisin rolls and pastries); desserts (selection of mini assorted flans, tres leches and chocolate mousse); carving station (churrasco or

Their Grilled Oyster with confit garlic and creamed spinach are superb. A must try is their Lobster Omelette with Brie,
asparagus, Heirloon Tomatoes and Hollandaise. If you like lamb, their Herb Rubbed Rack of Lamb with Red Quinoa Salad and Apple Raita and port Jus is an outstanding signature dish. The Pièce de Résistance–Mousse au chocolate with macaroon, crème de cassis and their Banana Crème Brulée.
They have a great wine selection and their signature “Basil Champagne Mojito,” made with a lime-basil homemade syrup topped with Champagne served with fresh basil and sugar cane stick is a brilliant twist. “Guests are always shocked by the level of talent of our singers,” says Edison Farrow, the creator of The Cabaret South Beach. “The Cabaret provides a platform for singers that never existed in Miami. We are always open to seeing new singers, in hopes to finding the next perfect fit for our cast. When singers come to audition, we have them sing in front of the crowd while we are open in order to get a feel for them and how they interact with the audience.”
