NASA has confirmed that there is evidence of flowing salt water on Mars. Using their Mars
Reconnaissance Orbiter, NASA found lines on Martian slopes that resemble flowing liquid and contain
hydrated salts. These lines appear to be seasonal which raises new questions on whether the water is
coming from melting ice or possibly a hidden spring. Of course this discovery has opened up
conversations around the possibility of human colonies on the red planet. But scientists have plenty of
research to conduct before we inhabit Mars.
