Wearable Art by Natalia Botero

For the sixth time, Natalia Botero dazzled at Miami Swim Week with her handcrafted artistic techniques, created by low-income single mothers in Colombia. The new collection from the Colombian swimwear and beachwear brand is inspired by Bali. Its pieces are made with artisanal techniques such as macrame and hand-dyeing, or tie-dye. Designer Natalia Botero and her team weave dreams and works of art that reach the hands of fashionistas around the world, with an unmatched seal of authenticity and identity, made by the single mothers who are the artisans of the Entreaguas Foundation.

“I always wanted to build my brand with that fusion of art and design. We are wearable art,” says Botero.

Entreaguas is in the United States, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Chile and even Australia through e-commerce (www.entreaguas.com.co) and sales to different boutiques and retailers. Its flagship stores are located in Colombia (Medellin, Cartagena, Bogota, Barranquilla) and Mexico (Tulum); it also has a Pop Up Store in Spain on Paseo de Gracia. The brand exports more than 7,000 units a year – pieces with Colombian history.

NATALIA BOTERO AND THE ENTREAGUAS FOUNDATION

Passionate about art and fashion since she was a child, Natalia Botero, Founder and CEO of Entreaguas Wearable Art, possesses an exceptional talent that she expresses through her paintings and collections. Her foundation encourages artisans not only with educational support at its facilities, but with social backing that allows single mothers, heads of household, to work from their homes and continue caring for their children while generating income.
