Whether you’re looking for a weekend at the beach, a ski getaway, a family visit to anamusement park or a host of other quick destinations in Florida, I chose Clearwater becausejust like its name, I love the water there. It’s crystal clear and there’s lots of things to do.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium passed a major milestone in welcoming the first rescued resident dolphins to its $80 million expansion which broke ground in 2016. Perhaps the most impressive addition to the complex, aside from the animals, is the 40 feet wide and 16 feet tall viewing window. Made 12.5 inches thick, the window offers sweeping underwater views of CMA’s resident dolphins that was never possible in their previous facility.
